Macronutrients per 4oz serving: 26g P, 2g F, 2g C
Use as much chicken as you would like to last you for however long you’ll need!
Trim fat off of the chicken.
Season chicken with:
1 tbsp cumin
½ teaspoon chili powder
½ teaspoon oregano
1 tablespoon garlic salt
Add all the chicken to the crockpot.
Add to the crockpot next:
1 chopped yellow onion
the zest and juice of one orange
¼ cup lime juice
¼ cup low-sodium chicken broth
5 chopped garlic cloves
½ bunch of cilantro
Cook either on high for 4 hours or on low for 6 hours.
Shred the chicken once finished and store in your fridge.
Makes a great burrito bowl! (Add brown rice or quinoa, low-sodium beans, lots of veggies, salsa, even avocado!)
