The little ones…

How powerful is a small intention…

*A goal at the box or gym

*Getting through a day without a cigarette, cup of coffee, trip to the drive thru, or soda

*Staying positive all day long

*Living in a state of grace with gratitude each day

*Being nice to the ones you love

*Respecting your elders, bosses...everybody regularly

*Drinking enough water everyday

*Getting the right amount of sleep

Someone once said “If you make your bed every morning you will have accomplished the first task of the day. It will give you a small sense of pride.”

No wonder my teen counselor at sleep away camp made sure we did this before even leaving our cabin for breakfast. It was encouraging, spiritually, consciously and sub-consciously to do another task and another, and another, as the day progressed.

Making your bed reinforces the importance of the smaller things in life, because they actually do matter.

If you don’t get the little things right, how will you comprehend getting the bigger ones right?

It may sound simple, but setting a small intention or two everyday, centered around something you’d like to do for yourself or others each day, will make a big difference in your life. And, if you have kids in the house, it’s contagious, the young people will follow. It’s quite remarkable how the little thing s will add up each day and you’ll feel pretty darn good about it and about yourself! Teach about the small intentions, yourself and the people around you. It's a lifelong lesson!

Trust me it works!!!
