Here at CrossFit Five Cities, we understand that everyone is different and each of us has our own, individual goals. It's near impossible to have a "one-size-fits all" fitness program. Scaling and modifying randomized workouts, day in and day out, will only get you so far.
We are committed to ensuring that everyone in our program gets results, and gets them safely through proper progression. This is why we have developed the 3 program levels within our programming/daily workouts. Each program level takes place at any and all of our regularly scheduled group classes.
This program is designed to help you understand that CrossFit is more than just a workout routine. CrossFit is about building a community for a healthier way of life. Our On-Ramp program will safely prepare you to start your journey to a healthier, stronger “YOU” with Crossfit Five Cities.
During your On-Ramp Program we will be teaching you the fundamental movements, efficiency, communication and skills necessary to succeed with our program. This program is MANDATORY for people new to CrossFit.
OPEN GYM is when C5 will be "open for business" but there will NOT be a trainer led class. A trainer will be on site to assist you with movements, answer questions or give input on your "plan of attack" while at open gym. You will be responsible for warming yourself up properly and executing your WOD, lifting session or skill work on your own or with a friend(s).
PLEASE NOTE: EVERY athlete attending open gym needs to arrive with a "game plan". What are you intending to do, for how long, with what loads, what skill are you working on, will you be doing the scheduled WOD.....etc. You will be expected to provide this information to the trainer on site so we can be aware of what you are working on. This helps us keep things organized with your set up as well as keep you safe.
